About Amanda
Amanda was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas to parents of Indonesian and Jewish descent. Amanda has been involved in choir, theatre and dance ever since she was in elementary school. However it was after she played the role of Constance Bonacieux in Ken Ludwig’s The Three Musketeers during her senior year in high school, that she began to view acting as a potential career.
Some of her most recent show credits include Ragtime, Spring Awakening, 9 to 5, Good Kids, and Sweeney Todd. She earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Texas at Arlington in spring of 2023. Outside of the training she has received from her BFA, Amanda has also done master classes with Alison Bailey, Mike Faist, Tregoney Shephard, and more!
Besides performing, Amanda also really loves going to concerts, snuggling with her cat, and traveling. One of her career goals is to book a national tour, so then she can travel and work at the same time! Whilst Amanda is currently based in the San Antonio area, she hopes to move to Chicago or New York within the next year or two and continue her work in theatre and film.
